This functional heavy duty raku bead rack will last thru repeated firings.
Great for firing beads, buttons, pendants, ornaments, etc,
The rack is fabricated from carbon steel which will withstand the temperature changes from kiln to raku reduction pot. The rack can fire to cone 07, mid to high 1700s.
Holes are drilled down the sides as well as across the top, allowing the rack to be used with high temp rods or wire. The rack comes with a 14" lifting hook and 6' of high temp wire.
The rods shown are not included.
The steel is nearly 5 mm thick and this model is available in 3 sizes.

I take orders for custom sizes.
With the stainless steel crossbar on top, it's easy to reach into the kiln with the 14" long hook supplied to lift and remove the entire rack for the short trip to the reduction pot.
Maintenance: The rack and wire should be coated with kiln wash to reduce scaling. If not coated, the rack will scale with each firing.
